Abstract/Summary
In October 2014, an archaeological trial trench evaluation and watching brief observation was carried out by MOLA Northampton, on behalf of CgMs Consulting acting for Chelveston Renewable Energy Limited. The works identified two ditches dating to the later 1st to 2nd centuries AD, postmedieval agricultural features and evidence for use of the land as an airbase was also identified.
