Abstract/Summary

In August 2020, Cotswold Archaeology carried out an archaeological evaluation of land at Benefield Road, Glapthorn, Northamptonshire. A total of six trenches, each measuring 25m long by 2m wide, were excavated across the 0.78ha development area. Although a small group of potential enclosures, located approximately 150m west of the development area, have been identified as cropmarks on aerial photographs no features or deposits of archaeological interest were identified during the course of the evaluation.
