Abstract/Summary
The former Jarvis Butchers building is in Wellingborough town centre at the point where Market Street, Church Street and Cambridge Street all converge. Previously, it was Clay’s butchers and may at one time have been used as a garage. It is not listed, but nevertheless lies within one of the Conservation Areas in this part of the town. Although not designated as one of the buildings for the town centre improvement scheme, enhancing the appearance of this building would contribute to the overall character of the conservation area and the regeneration of the town centre as a whole.
