Abstract/Summary
A programme of historic building recording and archaeological monitoring was undertaken at The Shoot Lodge, Hulcote, on behalf of Farima Properties on a number of former agricultural buildings that were being converted for domestic use. The farm buildings are not shown on the Tithe map of 1849 but are on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of 1884 and appear to have been constructed in three phases, beginning in the 19th century. Observation and recording carried out during groundworks associated with the conversion did not encounter any significant archaeological deposits or finds.
