Abstract/Summary

Proposals have been made to restore and adapt the largely redundant farm buildings of Yarwell Mill Farm, Northamptonshire. Although the buildings are not listed, the adjacent mid-19th century mill, a mill cottage, and a bridge all are. The buildings vary in date and interest but the farmstead is, in heritage terms, of sufficient importance to be considered a non-designated heritage asset. This report and survey were commissioned as a condition of the planning permission granted to restore and convert the buildings.
