Abstract/Summary

A programme of Archaeological Field Evaluation was carried out by Pre-Develop Archaeology between 17th and 19th March 2014 prior to construction of an Anaerobic digester at Manor Farm, Grimscote, Northamptonshire. A desktop survey produced by Pre-Develop Archaeology in 2013 suggested the possibility of the existence of Saxon features on the periphery of the extant farm yard excavations within the proposed development identified insignificant modern features associated with the modern farm and outbuildings and geological cracking within the natural bedrock and superficial layers. No other finds or features were encountered what-so-ever. No finds were retained and no archive formed; the only archive for this site is retained within this report.
