Abstract/Summary
In August 2019 Icknield Archaeology Ltd undertook an archaeological evaluation at 43 High Street, Harrington, Northamptonshire. The site lies within a former Tudor park, which has statutory protection as a Scheduled Ancient Monument (SAM). The site is within the SAM. Two trial trenches were opened, but no structures, artefacts or cut archaeological features were observed. The fieldwork demonstrated that the site is relatively undisturbed and that the modern property boundaries respect the layout of the 16th century Tudor park
