Abstract/Summary

An historic building survey (Level 2) was undertaken on the 16th December 2020 of a semi-sunken WWII military air raid shelter at Polebrook Airfield, Lutton Road, Polebrook, Northamptonshire, PE8 5LY, henceforth called the site. The survey comprised of the written description and photographic recording of the building, making use of survey drawings independently commissioned by the client. The survey concluded that the building is a Stanton type, sectional air-raid shelter, manufactured post 1941
