Abstract/Summary
A programme of archaeological trenched evaluation was undertaken on land at The Wash House, Fineshade Abbey, Fineshade, Northamptonshire, NN17 3BA. This was conducted by Midland Archaeological Services prior to development of the site and to satisfy a planning condition. This programme of work concluded that natural soil, subsoil and topsoil were present throughout the site, along with a post-medieval stone building structure.
