Abstract/Summary
Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd conducted a trial trench evaluation on land to the west of the A509 between A14 Jct 9 and Symmetry Park, Kettering This evaluation, conducted between 20th–22nd October 2020, was commissioned by The Environmental Dimension Partnership (EDP) on behalf of Tritax Symmetry in advance of work associated with the dualling of the A509 (planning reference: KET/2018/0965). The work comprised of the excavation of five trenches, four of which were archaeologically sterile and one trench with a shallow ditch.
