Abstract/Summary

A watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of the footprint for a new disabled toilet block, associated drainage trench and a water/ electricity pipe trench. The work was carried out for Stimpson Walton Bond on behalf of PCC St Mary the Virgin. Three parallel, equally spaced burials were recorded within the drainage trench but left in-situ. No significant archaeological features or deposits were encountered during the work.
