Abstract/Summary

MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) Northampton was commissioned to undertake trial trench evaluation on land at Stanton Cross, Wellingborough. Sixteen trenches targeted archaeological remains previously identified through geophysical survey. The evaluation recorded an area of middle to late Iron Age ditches, enclosures and pits, as well as a series of late Iron Age enclosures.
