Abstract/Summary
In April 2014 Archaeology Wales was commissioned to carry out an archaeological desk-based assessment of a proposed solar farm on land to the south of Cranford St John, Kettering, Northamptonshire (NGR SP 92584 76429) as part of a planning application. No designated historic landscape areas, Listed Buildings or Scheduled Ancient Monuments lie within the bounds of the proposed development. The villages of Cranford St John and Cranford St Andrew both lie within Conservation Areas and have a large number of listed buildings.
