Abstract/Summary
Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd was commissioned to undertake Archaeological Trial Trenching works on land on Courteenhall Estate, known as Three Oaks, Adjacent To M1 And Waltham Wood Courteenhall Road, Quinton, Northamptonshire. This work was for Shockingly Fresh Limited, the client, in advance of the Erection of Polytunnels and associated infrastructure. The fieldwork was undertaken between 24th May – 9th June 2022. Only one ditch and two possible ditches were found across the 47 trenches excavated. These were likely post-medieval agricultural features and were identified in the northeastern area of the site only. There was no other archaeological activity on site which corresponds to the result of the geophysical survey
