Abstract/Summary

Mr Rrahim Gjoka commissioned Allen Archaeology Limited to undertake archaeological strip, map and recording in advance of the installation of a new car wash. The site is within an area of high archaeological potential. Recent archaeological work close to the site has revealed Roman burials, field systems and structures. The machine excavation of two tank pits measuring 2.0m x 1.2m and c.0.6m deep were monitored and recorded. No archaeological deposits or features of significance were observed.
