Abstract/Summary

University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) carried out an archaeological evaluation by trial trenching on land at Acremead, Warmington, Northamptonshire (TL 07480 91020). The work was undertaken as part of an archaeological impact assessment in advance of a proposed residential development. A single evaluation trench was excavated along the line of the proposed house plots that revealed no significant archaeological finds or deposits. Extensive disturbance was recorded at the western end of the trench that probably represents evidence of modern gravel extraction. The site archive will be held by ULAS, accession no. NH_AH12, until a recipient organization for Northamptonshire has been established.
