Abstract/Summary

A desk-based assessment was undertaken by Archaeological Services Durham University at Wood Burcote House, Towcester, Northamptonshire in August 2019. There are no records of any archaeological features on the site but the presence of activity in the near vicinity indicates that an unidentified resource may once have existed. However, the site was developed as a factory in the 1950s and redeveloped as an office block around 2009. This is likely to have removed any former archaeological resource.
