Abstract/Summary
This collection comprises images and a report from Historic Building Recording work at The Maidwell Building, Avenue Campus, Northampton. This work was undertaken by The Environment Partnership between October 2021 and March 2022, ahead of the partial demolition and redevelopment of the former college building. The building was constructed at the northern edge of Northampton town centre as a purpose-built College, in three main phases between 1932 and 1937. The phase was executed in a neo-Georgian style and a later phase was added between 1959 and 1961 in a contrasting modern style.
