Abstract/Summary
A planning application was submitted to East Northamptonshire District Council (ENDC) for proposed renovation, replacement and maintenance works to be undertaken, whilst transforming a redundant Grade II listed vicarage, into a dwelling. It was highlighted by the ENDC that the works will impact upon previously unrecorded historical and archaeological resources. As a result of this, a condition was attached to the planning consent requiring a Level 2 Building Recording Survey to be undertaken on the first and second floors of the building, and a further Level 3 Building Recording Survey to be undertaken on the roof space/attic. This document is the report on the building recording survey as detailed in the written scheme of investigation WSI:BS/BN/21 which was approved by ENDC. The work was not only able to record general internal and external features of the building but also provide previously unrecorded details within the attic/roof space that allowed for interpretation of relative phasing
