Abstract/Summary
MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) was commissioned by RPS Consulting to conduct a geophysical survey on land straddling Wold Road to the south-east of Kettering, Northamptonshire. The survey detected two small rectilinear enclosures containing roundhouses, probably dating from the Iron Age. The presence of these remains had previously been inferred from cropmarks. Extensive medieval ridge and furrow cultivation and the remains of a demolished 19th-century farmhouse were also detected.
