Historic England has received an application proposing the Towcester Police Station and Magistrates’ Court for listing, prompted by concerns about the building’s future. The building is no longer in use as a police station or court, though is still occupied by the Police. The building stands within the Towcester Conservation Area. It has been identified in the Conservation Area Appraisal as a landmark building, and as a non-designated heritage asset.
