Abstract/Summary

MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) was commissioned to conduct a geophysical survey on land to the north of Willow Brook, King’s Cliffe, Northamptonshire. The survey identified a complex of ditches and possible ironworking remains in the northeast of the survey area, where Roman pottery and undated iron slag had previously been observed. Other features of possible archaeological interest, mostly comprising isolated lengths of ditch and suspected patches of ironworking debris, were sparsely distributed across the remainder of the area.
