Abstract/Summary
In February 2023, KDK Archaeology Ltd undertook two Archaeological Evaluations at 15 Hight Street, Yardley Gobion, Northamptonshire. Two 20 by 1.80m wide trenches were excavated within the footprint of the proposed dwellings. The only features uncovered were a large ditch and a pit in Trench 1, containing 19th century glass and pottery. The evaluation related to two separate planning applications: WNS/2021/1010/FUL which is for a single dwelling, and WNS/2022/0388/FUL which is for two separate dwellings on the adjacent plot. This report covers both applications.
