Abstract/Summary

This report details the results of an archaeological watching brief carried out by University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) An Archaeological watching brief at 33 - 39, College Street, Northampton, Northamptonshire. (NGR SP 75357 60547). The work was undertaken on the 18th April 2023 during the construction of a purpose-built student accommodation. The watching brief comprised observing pad foundations that were excavated in north-west corner of the site, within footprint of the new building. The pad foundations contained only heavily disturbed natural soil. The archive will be deposited with West Northampton Council Archaeological Resource Centre under the Event number ENN111091.
