Abstract/Summary

MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) was commissioned to undertake evaluation works at Doddridge Car Park, Northampton, hereafter called ‘the site’, comprising of two test pits (CT011 and CT012) and watching brief ((SA) TP02 and TP02a) at the undeveloped land at the southern end of site. The works took place during January 2023. The evaluation test pits revealed disarticulated human remains, which confirmed a presence of a medieval-post medieval burial ground, also identified by previous archaeological works (Wilson, 2002) and (Harward, 2002). There were no archaeological remains observed in the southern area of site during the watching brief.
