SNN116284 - The Old Nursery, Geddington: The Historic Environment Desk-Based Assessment

The Historic Environment Desb-Based Assessment (DBA) has been prepared by JBA Consulting Ltd on behalf of Howkins & Harrison to support the scheme for a housing development at the Old Nursery, Geddington, Northamptonshire. The DBA concluded that the potential for below ground archaeological remains to survive within the PDA is generally low, with some moderate potential for remains of post-medieval origin; although the importance of those remains would be low, Non intrusive survey, such as geophysical survey, is not possible within the development site due to heavy tree cover and because the previous disturbance of the ground would not produce meaningful results.
