Author/Originator | Rebecca Fradgley |
Date/Year | 2023 |
Abstract/Summary
A detailed magnetometer survey was conducted over approximately 6.8 hectares of land off Brick Kiln Road, Raunds and it has identified a series of adjoining rectilinear enclosures, ditches and small pit-like responses indicative of settlement activity. Former ridge and furrow cultivation has been mapped in the data, along with an old field boundary and former pond. An area of strong magnetic disturbance relates to a former brickworks.
