Abstract/Summary
Archaeological investigations were carried out during the installation for a new septic tank, soakaway and drainage field within the former Canons Ashby Augustinian Priory, which is a Scheduled Ancient Monument. The new septic tank was installed in the same location as the original tank, with the drainage field located in an area of the garden that had been shown by previous works to have been made up in the later 20th century. No archaeological features, or significant finds were revealed or impacted by the works.
