Abstract/Summary

A single trial trench was excavated at Onley Equestrian Centre on behalf of Mr P Baker, to support the application for the erection of a new indoor arena. The site is partially located within the area designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument known as ‘the abandoned medieval village of Onley’ (National Heritage List for England no.1003900). No evidence for significant archaeological remains was revealed in the trench and no finds were recovered. These results concur with a previous evaluation at the site (Soden 2016).
