Abstract/Summary
Heritage statement prepared for a planning application to convert the buildings at the site, including archaeological desk-based assessment and building appraisal. Home Farm comprises a collection of buildings of 17th and 19th Century date, including barns, cow houses and cottage. Home Farm comprises a collection of buildings of 17th and 19th Century date, including a significant Grade II Listed range containing a barn and cottage which are of national heritage significance. Other buildings on the site include a partially demolished range of 19th Century ancillary buildings of negligible heritage significance, and a mid-20th Century barn of no heritage significance. The site also contributes positively to the setting of the Grade II Listed Home Farmhouse, and the character and appearance of the Twywell Conservation Area.
