Abstract/Summary
ln May 2A24,KDK Archaeology undertook an Archaeological Evaluation at land to the rear of 13-21 High Street, Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire, which comprised a single trench situated within the footprint of the development. The soil profile consisted of 2.1.m of modern made ground directly overlying the natural geology. A single pit was recorded which contained 4 pottery sherds, probably of a late Roman date.
