SNN116849 - Northampton, Abington Park: Note on rectangular grass parch-mark

During the prolonged summer drought of 2022 a rectangular grass parch-mark became clearly visible at ground level in the north western part of Abington Park, Northampton. This had not previously been seen by the writer and does not appear to have been recorded by the local HER or on Historic England’s Heritage List for England though it is just discernible on the May 2020 Google Earth image. As such a basic field record was made on the morning of 15th August 2022.
