Abstract/Summary

Excavations were carried out on Site A between April and July 1974 under the direction of Dr John H Williams with Ian Caruna acting as supervisor after trial trenching in October 1973 by Melvyn D Card had established the esistence of archaeological levels on the site. The excavation trench was trapezoidal in shape measuring 15m north-south by 6m-8m east-west, a total of 108m squared being excavated

Digital copy. Original held in archive at the Northamptonshire ARC. Although this says Site A, it appears to match up with Site B. However, there are no illustrations
