Abstract/Summary
Duston Conservation Area was first designated in March 1977 as an area of distinctive character worthy of preservation or enhancement. Conservation areas in Northampton are designated by the Borough Council. The government requires that conservation areas must be reviewed from time-to-time to ensure that they are kept up to date. This document sets out the appraisal of Duston Conservation Area undertaken during the autumn of 2008.
