Title 47 West Street Ecton Northamptonshire: A Heritage Impact Assessment
Author/Originator
Date/Year 2022

Abstract/Summary

Planning consent has been given by North Northamptonshire Council (Wellingborough Area) for alterations to 47 West Street, Ecton (WP/20/00822/FUL) – a combination of three former dwellings that had been combined into one in 2003. They appear to date from the 18th to 19th centuries but have been considerably altered and extended. A condition of the consent was that a Historic England (exRCHME) Level 2 survey of the buildings be undertaken in advance of the consented works. This Consultancy was commissioned to undertake such an archaeological record in conjunction with RPS to provide a degree of ‘preservation by record’ of the buildings in their present condition.
