| Title | GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY REPORT: Apex Park Phase 4, Daventry |
| Author/Originator | Jon Tanner |
| Date/Year | 2018 |
Abstract/Summary
A geophysical survey on land at Apex Park, Daventry, detected a ring ditch and a ditch likely to be of archaeological interest. The anomalies appear to be part of a landscape of prehistoric remains ranging in date from the Middle Bronze Age to the Iron Age as previously exposed by excavations in fields immediately to the west and south. A number of anomalies of uncertain origin may have archaeological potential, but could be due to natural, agricultural or modern causes. Areas of magnetic disturbance are the effects of “made ground” as recorded in borehole logs.
