| Author/Originator | Christer Carlsson |
| Date/Year | 2025 |
Abstract/Summary
A Level 2 Historic Building Recording was conducted by Independent Archaeology Consultants at the Pavilion House, Ashton Wold, Ashton, Northamptonshire in July 2025. The building recording revealed much information about the early 20th century building and the two nearby outbuildings the Apple Store and the Goat Herd Shed. The outer stone walls of the Pavilion House remained intact, and the structure contained a number of well preserved architectural features, such as chimneys and original wooden stairs and doors. The Pavilion House was originally half of a pair of semi-detached cottages, combined into one house in 2006. Both the Apple Store and The Goat Herd Shed have been heavily rebuilt in recent years.
