Abstract/Summary
MOLA Northampton were commissioned by RPS Group, on behalf of their client Vistry Homes to undertake a trial trench evaluation on Area 17 of the Stanton Cross/ Wellingborough East Sustainable Urban Expansion (SUE). A total of 15 trenches were excavated across the development area. Although natural substrate was largely undisturbed and overlain with colluvial deposits, no archaeological remains other than a modern brick deposit were identified.
