Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation comprising desk-based study and trial excavation was undertaken to the north of Black Pot Lane, Oundle (NGR TL 0407 8838). Parts of the site have been disturbed by post-medieval quarrying. No evidence for medieval or earlier activity was discovered despite the presence of a nearby early-middle Saxon settlement.
