Abstract/Summary

There were no previously known archaeological sites within the road corridor, and no new sites were located by desk-based survey. All arable fields were fieldwalked, but no significant concentrations of finds were recovered. Geophysical reconaissance survey located a single major area of enhanced magnetic susceptibility and the extent and nature of this site was defined by detailed geophysical survey.
