Abstract/Summary

A series of evaluation trenches were excavated by machine on the former site of Banbury buildings. The trenches were all filled with bricj rubble to the maximum depth that the machine could reach (3m). Hence the site would appear to be totally cellared and all archaeological levels can be assumed to have been destroyed.
