Abstract/Summary

An archaeological evaluation by trial trenching was undertaken within the area of a proposed grainstore at Barn Farm, Weston by Welland. The site was located 30m to the south of a possible Roman fort. Three trenches were located within the area of the proposed footings and drainage trenches of the building. They failed to reveal any significant archaeological deposits.
