Abstract/Summary
A scheme of archaeological trial trenching was excavated within an area of land encircled by Lower Street and Trafalger Road in the areas of most potential. No significant archaeological remains were identified, although access to part of the site of the greatest interest was restricted by the presence of live electricity cables.
