Abstract/Summary
Trench Evaluation was carried out at six sites, as recommended in the archaeological field survey report. Two of these sites proved to be of considerable archaeological importance , and required larger-scale excavation prior to excavation. The other four were not considered to be of sufficient significance to merit such investigation. Three earthwork sites were also recorded by topographic survey.
