Description

Fountain. C.1905. By Sir Reginald Blomfield for Lord Brassey. Marble. Renaissance style. A small circular finely carved basin and pedestal stand on a triangular base carved with dolphin heads. Sited in a small pond/basin and close to the summerhouse (qv) and forms a significant group with it and the other items surrounding the house at Apethorpe. The gardens at Apethorpe are included in the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade II.
