Description

Stables, now barns and ancilliary rooms. Probably early C18. Regular coursed banded limestone and ironstone with corrugated metal roof. Originally probably 5-unit range of stables with haylofts over. 2 storeys. 3-window range at first floor of 2-light casements with 3 hayloft plank doors between; all under wood lintels. One plank door to ground floor, far left, other ground floor openings are C20. Now linked to the Tithe Barn (q.v.) by a single storey C20 extension. Interior retains two C18 roof trusses. Included for group value.
