Description

3 houses. C17 and C18. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roofs. Originally one- and 2-unit plans forming an L-shape range. Single storey with attics, and 2 storeys. Together comprising an 8-window range, at ground floor. 4-light, ovolo-moulded stone mullion, window to ground floor far right. 5 horizontal sliding sash windows, with glazing bars, under wood lintels, to ground floor centre. 2 C19 casement windows, under wood lintels, to right. 3 leaded casements to first floor left, under eaves and 3 hipped eaves dormers, with leaded casements, to right. 2 plank doors between windows, to right, are under wood lintels. Ashlar gable parapet to right and stone stacks at ridge. Elevation of rear range, to left is a 2-window range of leaded casements under wood lintels. Ground floor window, to left, is a C20 casement. 4-panel door under wood lintel to right and stable door under wood lintel to left. Ashlar gable parapet to left and ashlar ridge and end stacks with remains of moulded cornices. Interiors not inspected but The Old Post Office noted as having moulded spine beams.
