Description

House. Late C17 with mid/late C18 wing and C20 alterations. Coursed squared ironstone, slate roof, brick end stacks. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Main front facing High Street has 3-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion windows, replaced by casement windows to ground floor. Ground floor windows have hood moulds. Quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Entrance to rear and C18 wing to rear left. Interior has fine open fireplace with moulded cambered bressumer, bar-stop-chamfered spine beams and original bar-stop-chamfered joists upstairs. Wing first floor has chamfered spine beams with diamond stops.
