Description
Public house. Datestones RE/1675 and RE/1683 for Ralf Exton,extended C19. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Originally 3-unit plan. 2 storeys. 4-window range of 3-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion windows at first floor and 3-window range of similar windows at ground floor. A continuous hood mould links the centre ground floor window and left hand window. Blocked door to left of centre has squared head with moulded stone surround. C20 plank doors under wood lintels, to far l ft and to right of centre. Brick and stone stack at ridge and ashlar end stack with moulded cornice. Datestone 1675 to right of centre and datestone 1683 to left of centre. Two C19 wings to rear. 2 stair turrets with lean-to roofs in angles between main range and rear wings. Interior modified C20.
