Description
Hotel and public house. No. 104 is C17, timber-framed with applied timber to front, stuccoed ground floor. No. 106 is early C19 and stuccoed. Old plain-tile roof to No. 106, C20 plain-tiles to No. 104. 2 storeys and attic; 8-window range. No. 104 has 3 canted bay windows to ground floor, C20 door to left and between two bays to right of centre. A moulded wood cornice and fascia board extends over doors and bays. 3-light leaded casement windows to first floor and two gabled roof dormers. No. 106 has 12-pane sash windows to ground floor, and to first floor left and right of centre, flanked by narrow 8-pane sashes. Plinth, moulded string course to first floor, pilastered strips to centre and ends of first floor, attic floor storey band, blank attic panels, moulded cornice and plain stone-coped parapet. Interior has chamfered spine beams.
